Handsxiety, noun – a feeling of worry, nervousness or unease of shaking someones hand
When the pandemic started, face to face meetings all but disappeared and went online, I for one was a big fan, no commuting, no traipsing around town and no handshakes with limp sweaty hands, win win.
However, we’re now back to normality and I’ve developed a new condition, handsxiety, feeling of worry, nervousness or unease of someone shaking my hand.
If you can remember, I always had a phobia of shaking hands which you can read here and now we’re back in the office and meeting people in person, the good old fashioned handshake is back with more germs than ever before.
So, if you’re looking to supercharge your new business efforts over the coming months and don’t want to shake ‘the hands’ then drop me a line so we can have a chat, hands free.
Happy prospecting.
